The Jade is an awesome "house" plant. Other than style, the Jade plant expels numerous VOCs, toxic or potentially harmful compounxs discharged by our floor coverings, dividers, paints, cements et al as they fix, as well as deteriorate. NASA did some fairly broad examination into plants, and air quality, for some somewhat clear reasons. Things being what they are, a large portion of our "go to" house plants help air quality hugely, some are superior to others at evacuating explicit poisons.
